Laser Eye Surgery

I had my eyes done not to wear glasses any more. The entire surgery has been taped. This is how it is done on one eye (only half of the movie but you get to see all of how it happens).

    wats funny is that it was only 1 eye

  2. TontonZen says:

    @cindabx The other was exactly the same. I cut the video in two.

  3. TontonZen says:

    @CompHelp001 Yes, only during the time that cutting device is on the eye. Once it is off the sight is back.

    @thefringe64 Yes.

    @grandimister Please people stop asking the “did it hurt” question I already answered that thousands of times. NO IT DID NOT HURT.

  6. TontonZen says:

    @GleeGeek No, you ‘re right awake and have to stare straight all the time.

  7. TontonZen says:

    @residentevilnerd Then don’t do it.

  9. MrSimonpl24 says:

    ok so, it doesnt hurt by what i’ve read, but did you feel any of it?

    can that sliced layer ever come off?

  11. blackknight3830 says:

    did you see anything with your eye, while having the surgery ?

  12. TontonZen says:

    @blackknight3830 Everything except it is blur when the flap is open and blacked out while the flap is being cut

  13. TontonZen says:

    @ecniv5700 Yes in case of trauma. The healing process is very slow, within the first week it can come off easily so you have to be very carefull. The first day you have to sleep with goggles because it is extremely fragile.
    After six months to a year the trauma required to remove the flap would also severely hurt un-LASIK’ed healthy eyes.
    The maximum solidity is reached after at least two years of healing.
    Search google for that, that is where I found the info.

    @MrSimonpl24 You can feel when it is touched. The white swabs are quite annoying. Everything else is neglectible.

    even if it took along time to it to heal and etc, was it worth it? …

    any side effects?

  18. Loyalsurly says:

    How much does it cost?

  19. c0uchsl0uch says:

    i have a couple of questions
    1. when your eye was dry and being dried,did youwanna blink to moisten your eye or did it burn from being dry?
    2. when you were keeping your eye still, did you have to focus like you were staring or did youjust have to be still like you were dead, does this make sence?

  20. CcoreyB says:

    Interesting….

  21. TontonZen says:

    @Loyalsurly Depends on your surgeon. The more expensive the safer in general, but always check with other people for your surgeon’s reputation.

  22. TontonZen says:

    @knattarn4 Every cent of it.

  23. TontonZen says:

    @drewlsy Yes, I can see like the six million dollar man. Besides that, after the(very slow) healing is complete, nothing to report.

  24. TontonZen says:

    @c0uchsl0uch
    1. No burning, the dry feeling is like sometimes when you wakeup it feels like dust in it. To moisten, plan A) drops, plan B) in lack of drops I found that yawning is effective in producing teardrops.
    2. Just relax and watch the little red dot (note: the dot color may vary depending on your surgeon’s equipment). It is like when you relax and keep your eyes focused at infinity.

    @residentevilnerd Considering the added value of your post I vote for the knockout.
