good on yeah i got my eyes zapped aswell they did a fabulous job !!!!
Hey pal!!! I am lasered!!! i was really lucky!! got LASEK at 3pm, its 8pm now and so far NO pain at all, go to get my contact lense bandage removed monday. I would advise people to go for it, i was nervous but the surgeon put me at ease so much.
night night!!!
@tsalbeci I think you can get it cheaper now. About £2,000 once you have added on all the trimmings! I payed extra for the laser cutting and the wavefront technology that you don’t ‘have’ to buy. God knows if it is all for real but I just ‘ticked all the boxes’ you know. I love my vision!
@linseyc83 Cool, thanks. Glad I am still helping people! Good Luck!

Hey dude
This is a really good idea!! I am getting my eyes done tomorrow… quite nervous. gotta hang around in the waiting room for a few hours afterwards. so my little bro can pick me up. I can’t bring myself to watch the actual surgery videos!! this has made me feel better
Thanks again!!

@markyboyclark That was pretty expensive, typical english prices?
@haroon99pk Mine cost £2250 for wavefront procedure had it done in December 2009.. My eyes are great, no halo, dryness etc. just great. better than 20/20
@haroon99pk £3770
How much did it cost u …
i had the LASEK friday and must say, i dont regret it at all..the first 2 days were persistant agony but once that cleared up and they removed the contact lense bandage, everythings all good..mine cost £1590 so not quite as expensive as yours though
hey thx 2 share ur experience & ur rely cute!!!:P
If you are over 40 like me, you can have different specs for each eye. I had the procedure done couple years ago. My left eye adjustet sharp, the right eye to -1. That enables me to still read the papers in old age without glasses ;D . BUT not every Brain can handle this, you’ve got to try that out first with different contacts for a month or so. Maybe due to this uneven setting i had some minor problems on the right eye (unsharp sight every 3′rd day) for about a year after surgery.
Hey thanks for this vid had mine done monday and your vid helped me know what to expect after, if anyone having it done do not worry at all about the op, u dont feel a thing i would go have it done again tommorow. its like seeing the world again for the 1st time AMAZING
i heard the “flap” never heals. does it? Also, during the surgery, did anything hurt? And one more thing, do you know what your prescription was before? Mines -2.50
Hmmmm fit bloke…..!
You got nice eyes wit or without glasses
getting mine done in 2 days, cnt afford intralase tho, so gonna trust surgeons technique. should go well tho
Hey that’s cool.
I’m sure I did read from a few people who said they were about to get it done and it’s good to hear back.
I really should not take it for granted as much as I do. It is still REALLY GREAT THOUGH!
HD vision I call it!
hi markyboyclark its been a year since i got my eyes done i left a comment then if ye check, my eyes are A1 im glad i got it done, thanks for the vid it helped alot
I am not a proponent of this surgery because it is cosmetic. Sight is your most vital sense and if it gets hosed, you can’t go out and buy a new pair of eyes!!
I think you will find quite a few pilots have had laser eye surgery.
There is always a risk with most things but only that you might not get 20/20 vision. Maybe ask your GP about it to put yourself at ease. If I were you, I’d go for it. I teach watersports and it has made my life soo much better.
i want to be a pilot but my eye sight is not good enough im thinking of getting laser eye treatment but i have heard that there’s a chance of going blind after a few years, is this truee?
Dr. John Kanellopoulos: There was evidence presented by Emory Universitys Henry Edelhauser at this years Refractive Surgery Subspecialty Day at the Academy of Ophthalmology meeting that the LASIK flap never actually heals onto the underlying stroma, especially centrally… This was a real eye-opener for me…” (Review of Ophthalmology 2/1/2009)
